Guardyn is a professional-grade anti-theft protection app for Android, built with a single mission: give device owners the evidence they need to recover their stolen phone.
When a phone is stolen, most people have no idea who took it or where it went. Google Find My Device can locate and lock a phone, but it can't tell you who stole it. Police need evidence — a photo, a location, a timestamp. Without that, recovery is nearly impossible.
Guardyn fills that gap. When theft is detected — whether by charger unplug, pocket removal, motion, or SIM card swap — the app automatically captures intruder photos, records audio, and logs GPS coordinates. Everything is emailed to you within seconds, without the thief knowing.
We built Guardyn with a Zero Cloud Persistence model. Your evidence — photos, video, audio — is never stored on our servers. It's encrypted on your device (AES-256-GCM) and relayed to your email via a transient Cloud Function that discards the data immediately after delivery.

Guardyn's three guards are designed around how phones actually get stolen: unplugged from a charger in a café, pulled from a pocket on the metro, or lifted from a table. Each guard has a customizable response time tuned for the scenario — as fast as 1 second for pocket theft, where every second counts.
